Ongoing freelance Copywriting work for Halo, a brilliant Bristol based creative agency.

COMPLETE RE-WRITE OF CAM REPORT FOR OMBUDSMAN SERVICES

The brief: Consumer Action Monitor (CAM) report is a high profile, widely read and revered document for Ombudsman Services and its clients. Halo had delivered a complete rebrand for Ombudsman Services and needed the 2019 CAM report to be written to reflect the new TOV and forward-thinking positioning.

Over several weeks, I worked closely with the creative team at Halo and the Marketing Director at OS to create a fresh, contemporary document which stayed true to the core values of the organisation and its partners, but which introduced some slightly more human copy to appeal to a wider audience and bring the report in line with the new branding.

CREATIVE COPY FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS POSTER

The brief: Cranswick, a leading supplier of premium food products wanted to show their support for mental health issues amongst their workforce and raise awareness of an initiative called Time to Change.

They requested a large poster which they could put up around the organisation to remind all staff – from factory floor to Senior Management – of the importance to talk to each other, to take a break and to ask for help.

RADIO ADS FOR LONDON DESIGNER OUTLET

The brief: London Designer Outlet wanted a range of seasonal radio adverts to drive footfall to the shopping and leisure centre at peak times such as Easter and also when large bands are playing at Wembley nearby.

There were several specific things they wanted to push in the adverts and some other things we weren’t allowed to mention (eg which bands were playing at Wembley) so it was a little challenging to get everything into 30 the second scripts, but we got there.

Black Box Partnerships is a specialist travel and events consultancy, which launched in 2018. Managing Partner Raj Sachdave, who has extensive experience in senior roles at large organisations such as Capita, wanted help in bringing a unique and fresh approach to corporate Comms in the business travel market.

Bespoke Greetings Card Commission

The brief: to help Black Box punch out in a crowded market by creating a piece of Comms which is unique, a little bit tongue-in-cheek and which could be sent as a ‘Thank you’ to high-level Executives who know Raj personally from previous roles but who have used Black Box for the first time.

Raj was keen to send something deliberately uncorporate and fresh in a bid to maximise response. (It worked!)

Full Page Press Advert

The brief: to create a full page advert for Buying Business travel – the leading industry publication in the corporate travel market. The advert was to appear in the issue handed out at the Business Travel Show – a major industry event.

Raj wanted something visually arresting so I used simple Copy to make a bold statement to reflect the success Black Box has had in its first year of trading as well as a nod to its growth plans moving forward.
